The issue of increased womens participation in all sectors of the economy has been one of heightened interest across the Gulf Region. However, concerns surrounding womens entry into, and exit from, the workforce continue to persist. Addressing the structural and social challenges that limit womens career growth and their professional development is essential for building a robust and egalitarian economy.
This event addressed the concerns that affect womens advancement in the workforce, and explored the findings of our research on the subject through a discussion of our new Thought Leadership Report.
Topics addressed included:
- the factors that affect womens participation in various industries,
- obstacles to womens economic engagement, and
- systemic solutions that would support women at all career stages.
